Kind Malaysia 2025 – Three Days of Unity, Where Kindness Unites Humanity

From 7th to 9th August, Kind Malaysia 2025 took place in conjunction with EventXpo 2025, offering three days dedicated to fostering kindness, connection, and community. The event brought together NGOs, social enterprises, corporates, and change-makers under one roof, each contributing to the collective vision of building a more compassionate and inclusive society. Over three days, the event highlighted meaningful causes, inspired action, and showcased initiatives that embody compassion and collective impact.
This year, Kind Malaysia 2025 proudly welcomed 27 remarkable non-governmental organisations, each sharing their stories, struggles, and hopes with the wider community. From caring for the elderly, uplifting children and women, and supporting mental health, to protecting the environment and championing inclusivity, these organisations embodied the true spirit of compassion and collaboration that defines this unique platform.
Kindness Unites Humanity
Opening Ceremony : A Call to Unite Humanity
The Opening Ceremony was officiated by YB Dato’ Dr Ramli Bin Dato’ Mohd Nor, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. His presence underscored the importance of initiatives that strengthen social fabric and empower communities.
In their addresses, Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman of Kind Malaysia, and Datuk Dr M. Gandhi, Co-Founder of Kind Malaysia and President of MACEOS, reinforced the mission of the initiative: to unite humanity through kindness and to create an ecosystem where communities can thrive together.
The ceremony was further honoured by the presence of Kind Malaysia Advisors:
- Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai
- Major General Professor Dato’ Dr Mohd Zin bin Bidin
- Dato’ Sri Dr Irmohizam Ibrahim
Adding a dynamic spirit to the occasion, the Scouts Association of Malaysia delivered an energetic performance, embodying the values of youth engagement, unity, and service.
Kind Malaysia reminds us that true progress is not measured by GDP, technology, or infrastructure alone, but by how we treat the vulnerable, the marginalised, and the unheard. Kindness is not charity, it is justice. It is the strength that unites us, the conscience that guides us, and the promise of a Malaysia that is not only developed, but dignified and humane.
A Royal Endorsement for Kindness
Kind Malaysia 2025 was honoured by the visit of YAM Tengku Puteri Raja Pahang, Tengku Puteri Iman Afzan binti Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah. A passionate advocate for mental health and Co-Founder of the Green Ribbon Group, Her Highness toured the exhibition hall accompanied by Advisor Dato’ Sri Dr Irmohizam Ibrahim. Together, they engaged with exhibitors and change-makers, highlighting the importance of kindness in shaping healthier, more resilient communities.
Kindness is not found in sentiment or grand gestures. It is discovered in the conscious choices we make every day to care, to uplift, and to include. Kind Malaysia 2025 was founded on this belief, to transform compassion from an abstract idea into a living practice that unites NGOs, social enterprises, and the corporate world as true partners in purpose. The challenges we face as a nation cannot be solved in isolation. They demand cooperation, commitment, and above all, compassion. Let this event remind us that kindness is not weakness but our greatest strength, a force that defines who we are and the Malaysia we aspire to build together.
Kindness in Action : A Showcase of Impact
Across three inspiring days, Kind Malaysia featured diverse highlights including:
- Pocket Talk Sessions: Short, impactful talks by changemakers.
- Corporate Kindness in Action: Case studies of meaningful collaborations between businesses and NGOs.
- Wall of Kindness: A visual showcase celebrating everyday acts of good.
- Live Performances & Activity Areas: A vibrant celebration of community, culture, and compassion.
Visitors also explored the Better World Corner at Kiosk 4, Hall 4, a dedicated space featuring inspiring stories, interactive experiences, and causes centred on health, wellness and care, humanitarian action, mental health and inclusion, as well as environment, technology, and empowerment.
Exhibitors representing grassroots organisations, social enterprises, and corporate CSR initiatives shared their missions and impact, demonstrating that kindness transcends boundaries and creates ripples of positive change.
Kind Malaysia 2025 is more than an event, it is a movement born from a simple yet powerful belief that kindness is not a luxury, nor an occasional act, but a responsibility. This platform brings together corporates, NGOs, and communities to listen, to learn, and to act, proving that compassion and collaboration can truly go hand in hand. As we celebrate the remarkable stories and partnerships shared here today, let us remember that kindness unites humanity and that lasting change begins with simple, sincere acts of care and connection.
A Legacy of Unity
Kind Malaysia 2025 stood as a living testament to the belief that kindness is a universal language that unites humanity. Beyond exhibitions and speeches, it created a space for dialogue, collaboration, and collective action.
As the curtains closed on this year’s edition, one message resonated clearly : kindness is not a moment but a movement, a force capable of shaping a more inclusive, compassionate, and united future for all.
